Homemade night cream and lotion
In order to prevent your skin from getting damaged, applying night cream and lotion is necessary. We can help you make simple and effective night creams and lotions at home.
NIGHT CREAMS & LOTIONS
Olive oil night cream
Mix 1/2 a cup of olive oil, 1/4th cup of vinegar, and 1/4th cup of water. Massage this onto your skin regularly every night before sleeping for smooth and soft skin.
Natural night cream 1
Mix one tablespoon of olive oil and almond oil each and apply it on to your face regularly. This helps reduce the lines and wrinkles on your skin, making it smooth and even.
Natural night cream 2
Cut one apple into small pieces and mix with half a cup of olive oil. Put this mixture in the blender. Then add 1/4th cup of rosewater to it and warm it up a little bit so that it mixes well. But be careful not to cook it for too long. Take it off the gas and let it cool. Then add 1/4th cup of rosewater to it. Store it in a glass bottle and put it in the fridge. Apply this mixture on to your face and neck every night before sleeping. It tones your skin, enhances your complexion, and reduces ageing effects.
Apple night cream
Add one teaspoon of olive oil and two teaspoons of rosewater to one grated apple. Make a paste and apply to your face and neck every night before sleeping. This is the best and most effective option for sensitive skin.
Milk cream
This milk cream will give you a fair complexion and soft, glowing skin. To make it, you will require three teaspoons of whipped cream and half a teaspoon each rosewater, olive oil and glycerin. Mix all the ingredients and apply. This night cream naturally moisturizes your skin.
NOURISHING CREAM
Nourishing cream not only moisturizes your skin but also gives it all the necessary nutrients. It fights vitamin deficiency and makes your skin healthy and smooth. These nourishing creams have both oil and moisturizer, which helps your skin retain moisture and maintain balance.
Nourishing creams can be used according to your skin type during the day or at night. Day creams are, however, different from night creams. Day creams are light, and thus do not attract dust and pollution. Night creams are thick and heavy. Using a nourishing cream regularly gives rest to the muscles of your face and improves blood circulation. Hence it is extremely important to use a nourishing cream every night before sleeping.
Glycerin nourishing cream
Mix two tablespoons of glycerin and lemon juice each and apply to your face and neck as a cold cream. Massage this cream onto your face every night before sleeping.
Almond nourishing cream
Soak 15-20 almonds for 5-6 hours. Remove the peel and grind them in the mixer. Add 100 grams of curd to the almond paste and apply to your face and neck. Wash off after an hour with lukewarm water.
Coconut face cream
Mix three tablespoons of coconut oil with 1/8th cup each of shea butter and cocoa butter, one tablespoon each of aloe vera juice and any oil of your choice, and 4-5 drops of your preferred essential oil. Massage this cream onto your face every night before sleeping. This repairs your skin instantly and moisturizes it.
NOURISHING HAND-BODY CREAM
For this you will need 1/4th cup coconut oil, 1/8th cup each of shea butter and cocoa butter, and one tablespoon each of aloe vera juice and any oil of your choice. First, heat the shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil on a low flame. When the butter melts, take it off the gas and mix in all of the ingredients. Massage onto your body with a gentle hand.
