How to make your relationship healthy .

1.Do similar things. Recommend books, TV shows, music, movies, news etc. Reading, watching and listening to the same things will give you topics in common to common to talk.

2.Send each other post cards or hand written love letters sometime. Its one of the cutest thing to do.

3.Make yourself happy and then allow your spouse to increase your happiness. A person who cannot be happy by its own drains the good mood out of a room.

4.The key to a happy relationship is for you and your partner to believe the relationship is 60/40 not 50/50.Both should give more and  expect less.

5.Appreciate your partner!  It's as simple as that.  However you want to express appreciation in your relationship, do it. Do it every single day. When it comes to powerful habits of happy relationship, it's about  expressing your appreciation to your partner.

6. Don't complain in public. Keep an open mind.

7.If you laugh together at least 10 minutes per day, your relationship has a 75 % higher chance of lasting.

8.Turn off the television in the evening and be with your partner. How can you possibly connect with your partner when the television is always on? There is no connection building when the both of you are constantly staring at the television screen in the evenings. Make the mental decision to turn off the TV in the evenings, and  spend quality of time together.
